Summary
Discussing his shortage of officers and an Ensigncy; discussing the desertion from the Regiment; reporting that he delivered a Regimental punishment of 1,000 lashes for mutinous language; adding that he has been "making a tour of the districts in order to see the several Reg'ts inspected. I am waiting here for the Dublin Review which takes place on the 26th - Gen'l Fox is arrived & I understand takes the command here on the 10th June.
