Summary
Asking for additional pay for the man who has taken on the additional duties of Quartermaster; expecting that his Regiment will be inspected "about the middle of May; we are very unfit for it just now as the greater part of the men have got the Itch & their Breeches intolerably bad, owing to their being made so small & further I find no preparation towards procuring others. I understand the Royal Irish moves early in June to Inniskellin; I am persuaded we shall experience considerable desertion if we are not removed from Ireland; - we already begin to feel it."
