Summary
Informing him that he is feeling much better and thanking him for the interest he took in him "during my confinement in Town;" saying he has not applied "for a renewal of my leave, but as the Duke was not ignorant of my ill state of health, & as I meant to embark immediately that I find my Lungs relieved, I conceive it immaterial." including, in a postscript, an extract of a letter from Major Mawby on the shipment of "Men's Clothing that is lately arrived is without exception the worst I ever saw."
