Responding to orders "to send home 3 Sergeants 6 Corporals and 6 Drummers to complete the number requisite for the Recruiting Service;" detailing the men he will send home; requesting that he be permitted to keep the drummers in Gibraltar and have new drummers "taught the drum and fife" in England and added to the Regiment there when they are ready; recommending the Assistant Surgeon to replace the Surgeon who will be on leave for six months."
