Summary
Continuing to ask for his assistance in obtaining an appointment in Italy after his Regiment is returned to England; suggesting that he might be considered as "Minister, or Resident to Rome - The Pope has shewn himself a very Steady ally & in this Age of Liberality, it Seems odd, that as a Temporal Prince, Great Britain should have no accredited Person residing at his Court;" adding that he will "leave the whole Business in your Hands, fully convinced you will not lose any opportunity of Promoting my Interest."
