Summary
Requesting his assistance in settling the accounts of monies owed to him from his Regiment; saying he put £23,100 of his "private fortune" into the Regiment which was only in existence for nineteen months; outlining the sacrifices he has made and the honors he has received for his service; blaming the Paymaster for deliberately taking "all his Books and vouchers out of my reach for the purpose that I might not discover What vast sums he had most wilfully deprived me and my Family, Then and now for ever of;" asking for prompt attention to the settlement of his accounts.
