Summary
Expressing his disappointment at reading the letter from Lord Mulgrave that Pulteney sent to him; regretting that he expected a favor to be granted to him with the release of Lapeyrere and expressing his sadness that Lapeyrere will continue to linger as a prisoner with little hope of release; saying he has not yet revealed all his secrets to him, but if there is any one will get them, it will likely be him; promising to send him more letters and papers.
