Summary
Sending them the corrected transcript of Tom Clark's interview of him; writing that his "intemperate comments on [Peter?] Marin's poetry and [W.S.] Merwin's should not be printed as they are only abusive inaccurate & would only escalate enmity and not bring reconciliation"; adding that "since Merwin has not raised the whole issue in print it is not really right for me (& you) (& [Ed] Sanders) to do so -- at least not without asking his opinion"; remarking that their "original prior agreement was to use initials a la Harpers Article."
