Informing him that Mr. Henning has just arrived in London; adding that he believes "that many of the Principal People think it right that He ought to have, and that he is intitled to have the office of Barrack Master, considering how others have been provided for, and I am inclined to think that unless he has the Place, that the Principal People at Weymouth, will decide and so resolve that he shall not return the Members;" saying he will dine with Mr. Henning that day and the next; adding in a postscript that he believes Mr. Henning has full confidence in him and will act according to his advice.
