Concerning Mr. Henning's possible appointment to the Barracks office; providing several reasons why Mr. Hening has a "fair claim to the appointment;" asking if he would "transmit the substance of this Letter to Mr. Perceval in order that it may be laid before the Lords of His Majesty's Treasury with whom the appointment rests;" adding that he believes "the appointment of Mr. Henning would give Satisfaction to the Independent Gentlemen at Weymouth who have on all Occasions supported the Interest of the Family."
