Reporting on a meeting concerning Sir John's [Johnstone] support of him in the [Weymouth] Elections; discussing the case against Mrs. Fawcett relating to the estate of Lady Bath; asking that he be kept on as his attorney given all the work he did for Sir James Pulteney on this case; saying "I can assure you, that I took infinite Pains in this Cause, and the Hard Work in preparing the Case for argument in the Commons, rested with me - and also for bringing the Business, in a proper Way before the Court of Chancery - I hope that I may be continued to act for you the Plaintiff in the Cause, and act as before."
