Summary: 

Enclosing a copy of a letter from Mr. Hanson (MA 1266.22); recommending that he not accept the proposal outlined in Hanson's letter; asking permission to tell Mr. Hanson that the matter should be left in the hands of the his [Pulteney's] legal advisers; saying he is satisfied that the legal expenses should be paid from the Estate; enclosing a draft of the report on the work of the Breakwater and the Apron.
