Concerning litigation involving Sir John Johnstone; counseling him "to postpone applying for the Certificate for this would be a very hostile proceeding on your part ag't Sir John, and it would not answer any purpose, unless you afterwards applied to the Court for an Order that Sir John might stand committed to the Fleet and I apprehend that you would not like to take a measure so very harsh."
