Summary:

Explaining in detail the procedures for an Order to Answer; saying "A Party when called upon, to put in his answer, applies to the Court for time to do so - The Court generally gives six Weeks time to answer, when this expires he may make another application & the Court (when the Party resides at a great Distance from London) then grants a month's further Time - a third application may be made, but the Court will not grant it, but on condition, in case the answer should not be filed within the 3 Weeks, that the Defendant should be at once taken into the Custody of the Serjeant at arms...I observe an Inclination to delay, but we will take care that not a moment shall be lost - Mr. Hanson has already been sufficiently indulged and it is impossible for him to complain - He was allowed time to consult his Counsel - and if he has not been forward with the Proceedings in the Commons, it was his own fault."
