Summary
Expressing his sadness that he will no longer be "under my Command, and most sincerely wish you health and success, the Latter I doubt not under the direction of Lord Cornwallis, who I am sure will change the manner in which the Rebellions War has been hitherto Carried on - I have not had any official account of your removal but nevertheless you will go tomorrow, as you propose, time pressing, & you will be hurried enough - Lady Bath will not thank them for your Jaunt."
