Summary
Informing him he has transmitted to the War Office the names of the men of the 2nd West York who are entitled to the Bounty; discussing "your unfortunate jaunt to meet Prince William...however the Prince set forward & was to sleep at Romney on Friday night, where he would not have the most comfortable accommodations, & wish him well out of the Marsh, in this uncertain bad weather;" adding that the Prince dined with him on Thursday and had he had advance notice he would have "sent a Dragoon to you...".
