Summary
Expressing his impatience with officers who are asking to prolong their leaves of absence; giving an order to have a certain officer return to duty and issue a reprimand to him for "absenting himself beyond the indulgence granted him;" expressing his pleasure that he will soon see him at Ashford; adding "Two Messengers passed this morning from Lisle, and two from hence yesterday to Lisle, the Communication very Hot, and I am sure Peace will be the result--."
