Saying that he would rather have the reprint edition of In a Farther Country with Black Sparrow Press and will wait until this is possible; remarking that he understands that Martin cannot print his plays, but he is disappointed; telling him to "just keep" the plays because "who knows how things will change"; thanking him for his new catalogue; adding that he is "presently (for the last year) orphaned of publisher and editor"; reporting that "despite [his] early disdain for" Los Angeles, "it now suits [him] fine"; thanking Martin for his friendship and interest in his work.
