Summary
Informing him that he has not yet been able to "accomplish the releasement of your two Yorkshire Reg'ts - The Duke of Yorks Letter, last was, that he would get the Consent of the Admiralty as soon as he possibly could - I suppose, after the next execution of 12 at the Nores, which was to have been this week.;" asking him to release Lieut. Waddington from his arrest and return him to duty; informing him that "The Duke of York will be at Canterbury this Evening at seven o'Clock on his way to Broadstairs, where he has taken a House, for the benefit of sea air and Bathing. An Express arrived from Paris, & report says favourable to the Negociation."
