Approving of his request to leave his Command "for a few days;" apologizing for not writing the letter himself; reporting that he "Left every thing in perfect Tranquillity at Sheerness - Only one by Nore Holds out in the River - all at the Nore coming unconditionally, in short the whole over - Parker & the other Delegates to be tried at Sheerness by a Naval Court Martial [-] they are now there or will soon I hope be made [illegible] examples of ----."
