Summary
Reporting on Regimental business; including the appointment of non-commissioned officers, the "heavy and unusual burthen" of Colonial postage "on all official Letters and Returns received and sent", the good health of the troops;" adding that the Battalion "would be much better pleased to be employed at this moment in a more active and brilliant service;" discussing a situation involving his brother, Ensign Graves, and expressing his hope that "he is fully sensible of his error and that his future conduct will atone for it."
