Directing the Paymaster to transmit the accounts of the deceased officers; discussing clothing requirements for the troops; asking that they "inform Sir James [Pulteney]...that the not having it in my power to promote Sergeants & Corporals operates to discourage exertion amongst the men; detailing the troop levels of Sergeants and Corporals and asking for permission "to promote a few deserving men."
