Summary
Concerning the need for a fleet to be provided to Admiral MacBride so that he can support the efforts at Dunkirk; adding "He is put by His Majesty immediately under my orders...I shall of course from you and him receive compleat and constant information as to all your proceedings and operations. I must again repeat my hopes that the force of troops in the transports in the Downs will not be diverted from their original destination if it is not absolutely necessary."
