Summary
Concerning his instructions for Dunkirk; saying he "just recollected that in none of my Publick letters, I have adverted to your omission of not informing whether any Explanation had ever taken place in consequence of my instructions that Dunkirk should be taken in the name of His Britannick Majesty. I hoped that is perfectly understood. I am just going to dinner, and being in the Country with a pleasing Party round me, and this the 16th of August, I am suspicious I shall not rise soon after Dinner."
