Summary
Adding an autograph note as a postscript to a letter, written in the third person, from the Marquis of Douglas to Sir James Pulteney with instructions for his friend who wishes an Ensigncy in the Royal Lanarkshire Regiment; saying in his postscript that he has just "taken Command of a Corps of 3000 destined I suppose for Ireland."
