Summary
Enclosing a letter from Lt. Col. Vassal (MA 1262.10) and requesting that he be added to the list of Officers entitled to the Helder Prize money; detailing Vassal's service under him that would qualify him to be eligible for the prize money; adding "Col. Vassal's zeal and activity in Holland are well known to you and as he suffered when sent with me with a flag of Truce to the Enemy's Army, I heartily hope thro' your kind offering that he will be allowed his share of the above Prize money."
