Summary
Concerning the Dutch fleet; thanking him for inquiring about his health and saying he is gaining strength slowly "but that is a great point as it enables me to take more exercise;" commenting that he believes "Admiral Duncan ought soon to overtake the Dutch Fleet, encumbered as it must be, with a number of transports and stores ships &c:, and I hope he will give a good account of it;" adding, in a postscript signed with initials, "I have just got a letter from Sir C. Grey saying that the Telegraph announces that the Dutch fleet is still in the Texel."
