Thanking him for the return of Camp Equipage; saying "I suppose you have fixt, tho perhaps secretly, the number and names of Waggons to attend to each Regiment;" requesting that the General Monthly Return be sent by the first of the month; adding "The alteration you mention about the Port will be of great advantage, but as the Inhabitants are most interested the proposal should original with them, and you can, in the name of Government, second it to the Port Office..
