Concerning the tuition for the Royal Military College; informing him that "Cadets are admitted at the R. M'y College from 13 to 15 years of age. They may remain three years, or until they have completed their academic course - If not the sons of Military Men the expense is 90 Gs a year - the Sons of General officers with Reg'ts 60 Gs - The Sons of Field Off'rs (and I believe Colonels without Reg'ts) £40 - The Sons of Cap'tns in full pay £30 - The Sons of Subalterns received gratis."
