Based on Faulkner's short story, "Turnabout" (which was published in the Saturday Evening Post on Mar. 5, 1932). The movie version, which was ultimately called "Today We Live," was directed by Howard Hawks.
Part of a collection of material related to Faulkner's "Turn About" that includes two mimeographed typescripts, two typescripts of a "Synopsis of Scene Sequences and their Content," and a typescript by Dwight Taylor of "Notes on Final Faulkner Script of 'Turn About'"; the five items are described in separate records; see MA 6089 for more details.
