Thanking him for sending the copies of Orígenes and noting that the magazine is "the very first I have seen from Latin America which exhibits a real sense of North American culture"; telling him that he will "receive The Sewanee Review from now on"; mentioning that he is "constantly looking for a Latin American to do a South American letter and occasionally to review books translated from the Spanish"; asking if he can recommend anyone or if he would consider doing a letter himself; naming the publishers of two of his books and suggesting that Rodríguez Feo order copies from them.
