Summary
Continuing to discuss, at length and in detail, his opposition to the Judicature Bill, specially the provisions for the Court of Review and the trial by jury in civil cases; saying "Were I a Scotch Nobleman I would without hesitation assert my right and demand a audience of the King who I believe to have more real attachment to the Freedom of the Country than almost any man in it - As I am clearly of opinion that Lord Sidmouth has rendered a most important and lasting Service to his Country by his opposition to the Catholic I hope he may be induced to step forward on this occasion also."
