Summary
Concerning the date of death of Lt. Colonel [Adam] Hay of the 31st Regiment in Barbados; commenting "This Country is not in a very war like state. We have indeed a great many men in arms, but not well organised. The Militia as far as I have seen very inferior to the same [illegible] of Troops in England in every respect."
