Asserting "upon [his] honour" that he "did not write the attack in the Newspapers upon Dundas & Cockburne"; adding that he does not know who wrote it; discussing his infant son and writing, "it is you know of very great importance to me to have a son, considering how firmly rooted my old feudal principles are"; telling Temple that he is much pleased with Temple's "visit at Mount Edgecombe."
