Summary
Thanking him for his "moral lecture" and promising that he "shall never again behave in a manner so unworthy"; telling him he is still interested in Zelide and forwarding a letter from her and a letter he wrote to his father asking for permission to visit her in Utrecht; noting that he is "very ill" and his surgeon says his "distemper is one of the worst he has seen"; writing, "You cannot imagine how happy I am at your approbation of my Book."
