The letter is undated, however, in the Ryskamp book on Chalkhill, he refers to the style of handwriting for this ruse one "that a reader in the 1630s would associate with someone of rather advanced years."
Signed as "Youres Penelope Trulove."
Chalkhill included a sonnet with this letter, also signed Penelope Trulove, which is cataloged and housed separately as MA 3342.8.
