Discussing his ongoing interest in Miss Blair as a marriage prospect; vowing that he will get the lock she has so far denied him; telling him he is "glad [Temple showed his] Journal to Lord Lisburne" [Wilmot Vaughan]; adding that "Lord Hailes" [David Dalrymple] has approved of" his journal; remarking that he wishes "to be a man who deserves Miss B."
