Summary
Announcing that he plans to depart for Holland on Aug. 5; noting that his "departure fills [him] with a kind of gloom that quite overshadow[s his] mind"; asking Temple to comfort him; remarking that his dejection is "very effeminate and very young," and stressing that he has "taken [his] Resolution" and intends to "keep to it."
