Discussing military appointments; writing that he will choose for uniforms [for Wetherall's men] "every thing agreeable to [Wetherall's] wishes, and in the choice shall confine [him]self to what is most simple and neat, and to what will put [Wetherall's] officers to the least possible expense"; thanking him for selecting Mr. Ridge to be his agent; sending him "General [William] Harcourt's answer relative to [Wetherall's] second son" and noting that the boy "will be received into the Academy the moment he has completed his thirteenth year; recommending that Wetherall write to General Harcourt to thank him; expressing concern about Lady [John] Wentworth's health.
