Summary
Reporting that he "suffered a great deal while the intense heat continued, owing to the very close application with which [he] found it necessary to devote [him]self to business"; discussing various men serving under him; mentioning his brothers, the Duke of York [Prince Frederick Augustus] and the Duke of Sussex [Prince Augustus Frederick]; sending Madame de Laurent's greetings and noting that they are both happy to hear of Mrs. Wetherall's improved health; asking him to remind Sir John Wentworth that he promised to find a place for Mr. Lyons; telling him that he has heard that "both [Wetherall's] and [George Stracey?] Smyth's situations were to cease," and adding that he hopes "this will not prove true"; commenting on bills Wetherall submitted to Coutts on his behalf; asking him to exert himself to help a shared acquaintance.
