The Le Fortune of 40 guns, Le Blanche of 32 - & a Liverpool Privateer of 36 guns which was taken from the English some Time past & made a French Frigate - they had just landed Troops from Georgia the Remainder of d'Estaing's Force at St. Vincents & were bound to Martinique;" " asking him to deliver a piece of muslin to Augusta with his love; enclosing Bills which he describes as "Congress's Best Bills."
