Expressing his "infinite satisfaction which I have in your Lordships favour...for the honour of the Commission it invests me with , as from the sincere enjoyment which it afford me as a proof of the happy alteration in your Ld'sps health. At the same time I flatter myself you will be pleased to think that your Command could not have been laid on any one whose inclination would be more truly zealous on the occasion than my own, which I will endeavour to show by seeing Mr. Elliot tomorrow if possible and trying every kind of means I can think of to induce his consent to your Ld'sps desires.;" presenting his compliments to Lady Chatham.
