Summary
"I would not willingly withhold from you any thing that might add to the probability, which I trust there is, of your deciding the question which I proposed to you last night, according to my wishes & your own honour & interest. And therefore (though not strictly authorized to do so) I can not refrain from letting you know that the King, in conversation with Lord Eldon [John Scott] today expressed himself in terms of the greatest anxiety for your favourable determination. Pray do not disappoint either Him or me."
