Summary
Congratulating him on the "Successes of the Campaign. Permit me among the Number of my grateful Countrymen to congratulate you on the Success of our Arms, and offer my sincere thanks for the essential Service you have rendered your country in curbing the Pride of Britain, and captivating an Army headed by one of the first Generals in their Service - I am pleased to hear that the Congress object to the Embarkation til the convention is ratified in England, This will oblige the haugty [sic] Tyrants to [illegible] with Freemen, or they must loose the Service of so valuable a part of their Army."
