Summary
Writing that he has been very ill and is still recovering, with discussion of symptoms; promising to send the next volume of L'histoire naturelle des oiseaux from Montbard; lamenting that M. de Ruffey has left his post as leader of the Académie [de Dijon]; agreeing that M. [Charles] de Brosses will do well in the position, but that he will not have enough time to run the organization as efficiently; writing that he plans to leave for Montbard in eight days and that he may travel to Dijon in June.
