Summary
Expressing her pleasure at learning from him that he had "given the Victoria & Albert Museum a complete set of Paul's books, prints, catalogues, etc, and I think it is exceedingly generous of you to start making so complete a collection for the Museum, since I wish to add to it on my side with private sketches from his sketch book and some of his unfinished drawings, which are very beautiful, but not suitable for public sale;" regretting that she cannot help him with the "small books which are missing, Richard Aldington's 'Images of War' and the 'Nativity' by Siegfried Sassoon, but I very much regret that I only have one copy of each and I am keeping a complete edition, rather naturally, of Paul's books to give to the Reading University Library..;" asking if he could provide her with "a typewritten copy of the letters in your possession since I am making this collection for Anthony Bertram whom I am hoping will be commissioned by Faber's to write Paul's Biography."
