Inviting M. de Ruffey to travel sooner and meet him in Paris, where he will be "depuis la St. Martin jusqu'a Paques" ; asking him to come to Montbard and to bring his mother-in-law; mentioning that he is planning to go to Dijon the eighth or tenth of the following month where he will spend two or three days at the house of M. [Jacques de] Varenne; mentioning the fact that his father owes M. de Ruffey 150 livres and that he has been made aware of the debt.
