Summary
Sending "the last - positively the last, Genesis set with the 'description' as I sent it to America two or three years ago. I have added a few notes. The document is for your private perusal & reference not for showing to clients. I suggest you have the set mounted as usual & put into some kind of special box or portfolio by itself - with the 'history' I sent you a few weeks ago put along with it. In fact a slight fuss altogether - and do bear in mind I want it sold before Christmas;" asking for his help in a matter concerning some prints he sent to someone in America and from whom he has not heard since he sent them; asking if he "ever had dealing with him or could possibly help me to recover the prints or the 'check' - preferably the latter. I know you have dealings with Americans from time to time & probably understand their language, you even seem to extract money from them so do help me;" adding, in a postscript, "I wrote suggesting they might like to buy the whole set - 17 guineas. They never recovered from that apparently."
