Writing that she misses him and gently reproaching him for not sending news sooner; attempting to convince him to "prendre l'air" for his health; explaining that she will leave for [?] on the second or third of October, and thence for Gallion; relating that she may stop at Bissy if she is invited; advising him not to go to the country because of the lateness of the season; choosing not to send news of the army because everything she knows is outdated; asking about his children; requesting that he send her [?]; mentioning la Saint-Martin [and a possible journey?].
