Summary
Appearing to deliver drawings or paintings; saying "We are having the hell of a time. Margaret has been sick for 10 days & gets no better. Our only servant broke her wrist two days before Christmas so can't cook or wash up. It falls on me to fill in the gaps in the house work. I tell you it has not been at all funny. These are the 2 for Leicester. Percy wrote saying definitely he couldn't purchase. A strange lady & he[r] husband appeared out of the blue & bought the other Epwell drawings last week. I don't know whether this new coast scene is any good to you & here is the London one. You shall have whatever I can get done;" asking for details of what he is sending to New York.
